iRIS Update 8/6/2009

We received nearly 30 responses to the survey that was recently distributed, many of which had some very constructive feedback.  The Implementation Committee is in the process of reviewing these and identifying what can be done in the short term to address suggestions.  Due to constraints beyond our control (software, KFRI requirements, etc) there are some items that are more likely a long term fix.  We will be providing a summary of the replies and what we can and cannot do back to the stakeholders in the near future.

Work continues apace on other iRIS components.  Work is proceeding on the Contracts & Budgets module as well as the Time and Effort module.  We believe that these two modules can be tested and implemented in the coming month or so.

A number of interested stakeholders have asked that the Project Management module be revisited with a view towards using this functionality for smaller non-clinical trials based projects. More on this at a later date.
